I would like to start the webroot / grassroot campaigning for Ralph Nader and Peter Camejo. The reason is simple. If you are a firm believer that the power of this nation belongs in the hands of the people and not in corporations, then you will stand up and vote for this minority candidate.

The idea of "Anybody but Bush" is so dangerous to an already failing democratic system because it closes people's minds to choice and it gives the democrats a "blank check" meaning that there is no mandate of the people. If it wasn't for the third party, we would not have had the changes made in the history of the US that we did, such as changes in civil rights, women's rights, and slavery.

What people fail to realize is that the differences between democrats and republicans are slowly diminishing. It is the plan of corporations, especially the corporate media to make the general public 'feel' like there is a difference, like they have a choice. Well, our choice as Americans is this third party.

People referred to the Green Party in the 2000 election as the spoiler party. To paraphrase Ralph Nader, one cannot spoil a system that is spoiling itself. The power of the Green Party is that it provides checks against two parties who are beholden to corporate interest. If both parties are being pulled in the direction of corporate interest, who is pulling for the people?

Green Party votes do count. They count because I, you, we are here to let the American people know that we will not stand around while our country dies. We will not stand around while corporations suck the life out of our treasury, our social services, our civil liberties.

I for one will NOT be voting for John Kerry. I will NOT be voting for George W. Bush. I will be voting for what I believe. I will not compromise my life and my beliefs. You should ask yourself if you are willing to compromise your beliefs for "Anybody but Bush."

Grassroots movements don't start with millions of supporters. They start with one person. The power of one is a great power. I implore you, who believes in this cause, to spread the word through every medium possible. Talk to your neighbor. Email people. Write letters. Practice your right to free speech before its taken away. Let them know that if they do not agree with Bush, if they do not agree with Kerry, to VOTE FOR RALPH NADER, the only candidate who does not support the invasion and occupation of Iraq, the only candidate who is not in the pockets of large corporate interest, the only candidate who is being sensored by the corporate media, the only candidate who really cares about the people of this great nation. Even though I still feel strongly about the power of a third party, we are in dire straits. Drastic times call for drastic measures. We must "rock the vote" for John Kerry. Otherwise, we might not have another election to vote in a totalitarian dictator like GWB. This man is a virus. He is not human. One who so willingly and flagrantly takes human lives like the angel of death cannot be human. Therefore, I am retracting my previous statement about Ralph Nader. Even though third parties bring up issues that need addressing, the greatest issue at hand IS REMOVING THIS TYRANT SCUM FROM OUR WHITE HOUSE. We are losing our democracy. Blood will flow in the streets if we continue this madness. This man will not only bring about the end of democracy, but he is likey to bring about the end of the human race.
